How to crop a PDF

No. It's a vector crop: only the page's visible frame changes, so the text, images and sharpness stay intact. It isn't turned into an image.

The selection is saved in proportion to each page, so it adapts to each one's size and the crop is equivalent on all of them.
Cropping hides what's outside the frame, but technically it's still in the file (it could be recovered by enlarging the frame). If you need to remove data for good, also use “Redact PDF”.
No. The document is processed in your own browser and is not sent to JapalTools or anyone else. When you close the page, no copy remains outside your device.
