How to make the allergen chart

In the EU, Regulation 1169/2011 requires information on 14 allergens in non-prepacked food. This chart helps you keep it in sight; what you mark depends on your recipes and suppliers.

  1. Enter the dishes one by one or paste a list (one per line).

  2. Click each box: once = contains, twice = may contain traces, three times = empty.

  3. Download the PDF and save the chart as CSV to update it when the menu changes.

More use cases

  • Restaurant menu: the printed chart next to the menu or at the bar.
  • Bakeries and patisseries: nuts, egg, milk or gluten in each product.
  • School canteens: each week’s menu allergens for families.
  • Catering and events: hand out the chart with the banquet menu.
  • Food trucks and markets: a sheet that is easy to see from outside the stall.
  • Staff training: a copy in the kitchen to answer customers with confidence.
