Frequently asked questions
No. The content of each page is scaled without turning it into an image: the text stays selectable and vector graphics stay sharp. Links, form fields and bookmarks are moved to their new position.
“Fit” scales the page without distorting it until it fits entirely and centres it, so a white border may remain. “Fill” scales it until it covers the whole sheet and crops what sticks out. “No scaling” keeps the original size and centres it: on a larger sheet you get a margin, on a smaller one the edges are cropped.
No. Everything happens in your browser: the documents are not sent to JapalTools or to any server. If the PDF had editing restrictions, the result is saved without them.
You can choose between scaling content proportionally with margins or resizing it to fill the entire new page.
No. The document is processed in your own browser and is not sent to JapalTools or anyone else. When you close the page, no copy remains outside your device.
