How to split a PDF into parts of a maximum size
Many online portals and email services limit the size of each file. This tool spreads the pages over as few parts as possible without any of them exceeding the limit, keeping the order.
Select or drag the PDF you want to split.
Choose By maximum size, say which pages to split and the size the portal or email accepts (or a common one: 1, 2, 5, 10 MB…), or choose I choose the pages and enter the first and last page of each part.
Under How the parts will look you will see which pages each part holds and how much it will weigh. Click Split PDF to download them (several parts come in a ZIP, numbered).

Frequently asked questions
Pages are never cut: each part holds whole pages, in order. If adding the next page would push the part over the limit, that page starts the next part. Fonts and images shared by several pages are also stored in each part, so the parts together may be slightly larger than the original.
It is placed alone in its own part and the result tells you which one it is and how large it is. It is usually a page scanned at high resolution: run it through Compress PDF and split again.
No. Pages are copied as they are, without recompressing them: they keep their resolution, selectable text and links. If you need everything to fit in fewer parts, compress the PDF first.
It groups complete pages adding their actual weight up to your specified MB limit, never cutting a page in half.
No. The document is processed in your own browser and is not sent to JapalTools or anyone else. When you close the page, no copy remains outside your device.
