Create event tickets from Excel
Upload an Excel sheet with your attendees' data: each column becomes a field. Design the ticket single or double-sided, with a background, images and a QR code linked to its data, and download every ticket in a print-ready PDF.
Select Excel file
or drag and drop your sheet here (XLSX or CSV)
The first row of the sheet holds the column names (Name, Date, Seat…) and each following row is one ticket.
Click an element to edit it. Drag it to move it, use the corners to resize it and the arrow keys to nudge it. Delete removes it.
Your tickets are ready!
Unzip the file and open each .eml file: Outlook opens it as a new email with the ticket attached, ready for you to press Send. In Thunderbird use “Edit as New Message” and in Apple Mail “Send Again”. Gmail and Outlook on the web can’t open these files. The list file shows who each email goes to.
How to create event tickets from Excel
The tool reads the first sheet of your Excel file (or the CSV), takes the first row as field names and creates one ticket per row. The design is the same for all of them and the fields are filled in with each row's data.
Upload your Excel file with one column per item (name, date, seat, code…) or download the template and fill it in.
Design the ticket: background, images, text with fields such as {Name} and a QR code with a link carrying each ticket's data.
Choose single or double-sided and the print layout, and download the PDF with every ticket.

Frequently asked questions
An .xlsx or .csv file with the column names in the first row and one ticket per row. Dates and numbers are shown with their Excel format. If the workbook has several sheets, you can choose which one to use. Old .xls files are not supported: save it as .xlsx first.
Whatever you choose: a link to your website with the ticket's data (for example https://yoursite.com/ticket?code={Code}), the value of a column or a text with the data. JapalTools does not store or validate tickets: the link must lead to your own website or access-control system.
Choose “Double-sided” and design the back. In the PDF, each sheet of fronts is followed by its sheet of backs, placed so they line up when printed double-sided with the chosen flip. Print at 100 % size and test with one sheet first.
Yes. The background can be a color, a gradient or an image, and on top you can add as many images as you like (logos, sponsors, photos), move them, rotate them and change their opacity.
Yes. “Save design” downloads a file with the design and its images. For your next event, upload the new Excel file and press “Open design”: if the columns have the same names, the fields fill in automatically.
Yes, if your sheet has a column with email addresses. Tick “Prepare an email for each person”, write the subject and message and download the emails: each .eml file is a draft with that person’s ticket as a PDF, which you open in your desktop email app (Outlook, Thunderbird or Apple Mail) and send from your own account. The website sends nothing: the emails are prepared in your browser.
No. The document is processed in your own browser and is not sent to JapalTools or anyone else. When you close the page, no copy remains outside your device.
